What is everyone's opinion on lasik? I am relatively new to the diuretic scheme of things, actually I dont have to use them b/c I get dry very easy....just want to look at the options out there.

I'm interested in hearing, too, since they are easy to pick up and very commonly prescribed

I know how to run it for say just dropping water for bloat w/using drol or soemthing like that I just want to know how it would be used w/competition b/c it is such a strong diuretic

I don’t recommend using Lasix, because it will pull potassium as well as water. I use Aldectone to keep from holding water and Diazide to excrete the subcutaneous water without disrupting the electrolyte balances keeping me from cramping. For this Contest I will begin on Tues- Sat with one tab of each morning and night.

If you can get a copy of "Body Opus" by Dan Duchaine, he goes through all the details on diuretics, it's very interesting and informative.

Is this the same guy that made fun of me over at IM.com b/c I made a post asking about it? ;)

I'm giving it a try a couple times before my show to see how I react. Even if I react well to it, I will only be using it IF NEEDED.

I will use aldactone and hope it gets me dry enough. If not, some lasix might come in handy.

I'm also trying to get my hands on some diazide, b/c I hear that would be a better option over lasix.

We'll see what happens.

Kid, is that the reason you went flat before pre-judge? If not why do you think you went flat? If we all share our mistakes as well as our successs we could learn from each other to prevent mistakes in the future.

Thanks

Lasix can definitely flatten you out if you do it incorrectly. Also, you must use the injectable version not the oral version as it is too difficult to monitor bloodlevels. The IV version can be administered 20 mg at a time and will be out of your system in no time. Thus you avaid cramping etc. I would only use it as a last resort and if you are holding significant water it wont do much. Running aldactone or aldactazide is a better idea...also run it for a few days out from the show.

yes, I was using diazyde also and between the 2 it was obviosly more than my body needed. Did not even sweat while on stage.

Thanks Kid, I’m staying away from lasix. I was told the pro's use it because of their high dosages of test make them retain a lot of water, then they use the lasix to drop all of it the week before. Thats how they get that ridiculous dry look especially in the glute area. I'm not at that level, so I’ll stick to diazyde and Aldectone.

Actually the pros use it b/c they are tested for diuretics and they can do piss test and then go run IV lasik and not get popped...:D

To cancel out the potasium loss with lasix mix some aldactone in and combine to 2. 20mg lasix 50mg aldactone works well and should not cause cramps.
